Karbonn A6 4-inch Android ICS price won’t hurt

Not everyone can afford or even needs the latest high end smartphones and all the bells and whistles that come with them, but luckily there are still a number of worthy handsets that are cheaper and still pack some good specs, and the Karbonn A6 4-inch Android ICS handset comes at a price that won’t hurt the pocket too much.

The new handset from Karbonn has appeared online and priced at an entry level Rs. 5,390 and comes with a 4-inch touchscreen display and the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The Karbonn A6 uses an IPS display with a resolution of 800 x 480 and powered by a 1GHz processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.
This dual SIM device has only 104MB of internal storage but this can be expanded by another 32GB thanks to the microSD card port. There is also a 5-megapixel rear facing camera while around the front there is a VGA unit for all those video calls, which is a good feature for an entry level Android smartphone.
Other specifications include an FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and GPRS/Edge and Bluetooth connectivity. Providing the juice is a 1,450 mAh battery unit that is promised to provide up to 2.5 hours of talk time, and 250 hours of standby.
