The Drinking Mirror app promotes ‘Drop a Glass Size Campaign’, and according to the latest figures shows that about 38-percent of women exceed the daily or weekly drinking guidelines on a regular basis, in some cases more than 2 to 3 units a day, which adds up to 14 units a week. It’s shocking how many people die a year, and those ages between 30 and 44 had doubled in the last 20 years. In Scotland alone cirrhosis and chronic liver disease death rate for the ages shown above has trebled since the mid to late 80s.
We are now in the month of January and there are many doing the ‘dryathlon’ where no alcohol will be drunk for this month, many are doing this to raise money for charities. We are doing the detox week starting tomorrow and not looking forward to it and cutting out rubbish foods and alcohol, but hey if it makes us a little healthier then why not.

Go and install the Drinking Mirror app and then follow the on-screen instructions, all you need to do is upload a photo of yourself, get the positioning right and then enter how many glasses of wine you drink in a week. Once you have done the following just tap that button to see how you will look in 10 years time, good luck with that.
The Drop a Glass Size Campaign mainly focuses on women, and awareness needs to be highlighted. This app is available for both Android and iOS users please visit Google Play or the App Store and see what you will look like in 10 years, maybe you will cut down on your wine.
