WWE app, RAW and Smackdown Active Discussions

For those that enjoy the world of WWE on the go you will no doubt know that there is a WWE app for both the Android and iOS platforms that delivers instant access to your favourite WWE superstars and legends along with viewing vintage WWE videos, and just in case you didn’t know both versions of the WWE app have received an update.

And since launching four months ago, the WWE app has been downloaded more than 3 million times in 215 countries and according to a report by Wrestle Zone, during the 2012 Slammy Awards WWE has had the 2nd biggest day of downloads since its launch with in excess of 151,000 downloads and received more than 583,000 slammy votes.
Anyway onto the mobile applications I’m sure you no doubt know that both Android and iOS apps enables the user to get ‘WWEactive’ via their smartphone or tablet, gives that ability to save and store superstar profiles, watch a main event from WrestleMania years ago.

The update to both apps now means the user can purchase and watch WWE live Pay Per View events via the mobile app, push out a message from your device to the WWE Universe, view your top 10 articles via the News section, and experience WWE Active as a new way to watch Monday Night RAW and SmackDown.
Using the WWE app which is available for the iPhone, iPod Touch, Apple iPad and Android devices, the user can join up with other members of the WWE Universe and build a virtual community of fans in your area, access the full schedule of WWE events around the globe, set reminders and purchase tickets, and if you fancy outfitting yourself like your favourite WWE star you can access official merchandise in the band new WWE Shop via the app.
For those that have not yet grabbed the WWE app, the iOS user can download the application to their chosen iDevice as a free download from iTunes, and likewise Android users can grab the app from Google Play for free.
If however you are already using the WWE app on either iOS or Android, we’d love to know just what you think of the Raw and Smackdown Active feature in the app, so feel free to let us know your opinions by dropping us a line to our comments area below.
