If you are over the the good old US of A, and in the market for a convertible Windows RT laptop then you might like to know that Lenovo has now started taking orders for the IdeaPad Yoga 11. The device is an 11.6-inch device sporting a convertible display, so that when the lid is closed you can use the IdeaPad Yoga 11 as a tablet.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 has now gone up for sale on the Lenovo website, which means the device has been made available a few days earlier than expected, with two version of the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 available in silver grey, with the 32GB model commanding a price tag of $679.20, and the 64GB version having a price tag of $759.20.
Those price tags do seem a tad on the steep side considering the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 specs are quite similar to other Windows RT slates such as the Samsung Ativ Tab and the Microsoft Surface, but you do get that convertible screen functionality.
Spec wise the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 offers an 11.6-inch HD Glare multi-touch 1366 x 768 display along with a 1.4GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor, 2GB of RAM, integrated 720p HD camera, HDMI-out, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11n WiFi, and of course runs Windows RT.
As the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is a Windows RT device it does come with a version of Microsoft Office home and student 2013 RT preview, along with being able to run applications available on the Windows store.
However, if you are impressed with the laptop/tablet, and place an order for the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11, don’t expect to have the device in your hands immediately because Lenovo has a shipping time of over four weeks.
Any of our readers going to be putting in an order for the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11?
