To be honest we are pretty sure this Samsung Galaxy S III 920 is not real but rather think this is a bit of a faux pas by Walmart. But the device is on the Walmart website nonetheless with the specifications of the handset listed as a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 8 megapixel rear facing camera, a 1.9 megapixel front facing snapper, 4G LTE, 2100mAh battery and runs on the AT&T network.
The image, shown below, shows the Samsung Galaxy S III 920 sporting a user interface that does indeed resemble that of the Nokia Lumia 920, although this device is said to run Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and the image does actually sport the Nokia logo.
Now, you may or may not be aware that recently a Finnish retailer sent a Nokia Lumia 920 up into space via balloon, as they wanted to see just how high the Lumia 920 would go before the balloon burst, and WPCentral reports that the Lumia 920 reached some 30km and spent over 27-minutes in sub-zero temps.
However although the team managed to recover the Windows Phone, apparently they launched two, and they haven’t been able to locate the second Windows Phone, and as such they are offering a reward of €1,000 to whomever finds the missing Nokia Lumia 920 and returns it.
Now in the video, which we have embedded for your viewing pleasure below, of the Nokia Lumia 920 going up to space it sure looks like a red one to us, and it seems that it is not MIA as we have found it over on Walmart.. lol Do we get the 1000 Euros reward then for finding on Walmart? Lol.
